When did you stop singing and dancing?

When did you stop being enchanted by stories?

Dreaming about the enchanted world that speaks to the soul, to the mysterious depths of that sense of rapturous union can give a sensation of fulfillment that makes life purposeful and vibrant. In this painting, believing that he is locked up behind bars the young boy looks into the magical looking light, longing to go explore and discover it. It is calling him always, but each time he is stopped by the bars. What he fails to recognize is that the lock is actually open and all he has to do is push the door open and go through to the other side, the new horizon.

Most of us long for that enchanted place (The Divine Realm, a place of no suffering, perennial light and joy), but we remain locked up behind bars of our self-generated doubts propagated by the Materialistic Realm. We long to be in that enchanted place but erroneously believe that we have no access to it, when all we have to do is to realize that the only lock is our own mind.

Childlike faith, the spiritual strong searchlight, illumines the way, showing us that there are no barriers, no locks. The doorways may be more obscure, but we can still seek them out. What if we were to return to the purity of our innocence for a transitory moment where we are enchanted with life, where the heart starts singing the song of gratitude as it witnesses the fragrance of the flowers, the double rainbows, the flamboyant colors in nature, where we feel electrified by the voice speaking from deep within, overjoyed to be simply breathing on this day, this moment.
