Guru Teg Bahadur Sahib: The Sovereign Sacrifice

Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji gave his life not for his own people alone, but to defend the freedom of others to practise their faith. In 1675, he embraced martyrdom rather than surrender before religious tyranny.

He stood as a shield between oppression and the vulnerable, affirming that every human being possesses the sacred right to live and worship according to their conscience. Through his martyrdom, Guru Sahib transformed sacrifice into sanctuary and left humanity an eternal legacy of courage, dignity and spiritual freedom.
