The Story
The symbol ‘Ek Onkar’– ੴ – which is in the center of this painting communicates the idea of one creator which is manifest in all of existence. The creator and creation are one entity; inseparable in the way an ocean is made up of its individual drops. In a similar manner, this flame of ‘enlightenment’, ignited through the master’s teachings, shines forth as we awaken to the realisation that each one of us is part of the whole universe, and we experience God’s omnipresence.
