The Inspiration
ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦੁ ਜਨੁ ਸਦ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਵੈ ਹਰਿ ਜੀਉ ਲਏ ਉਬਾਰੇ ॥੨॥
Prahlaad, the Lord’s humble servant, constantly sang the Glorious Praises of the Lord, and the Dear Lord saved him. ||2||

Prahlaad was immersed in fire but because his consciousness was in tune with God, he remained cool and the flames could not harm him. This legend teaches us that in our daily lives if we remain absorbed in remembrance of His Presence nothing can harm us.
